Overview

AccessPro Portal is a value-added module of the AccessPro Suite from Privasoft.

It is deployed selectively by customers who are seeking to extend the automation of the FOIA or ATIP operations beyond the immediate processing team.

AccessPro Portal makes requesters part of the process by allowing them to submit requests and track status over the Internet. It allows FOIA/ATIP teams to fully promote transparency and improve customer service, as encouraged by recent government initiatives such as the OPEN Government Act and the Federal Accountability Act.

AccessPro Portal allows FOIA/ATIP teams to provide their requester community with the ability to:
• log requests via the Web;
• check the status of requests online;
• receive electronic release packages securely; and
• access selected release packages in a searchable reading room.

The AccessPro Portal module can be used in the following scenarios: - to deploy a publicly facing self-service eFOIA interface; and - to create an online reading room.
